The “Swordswomen Club”

xxnya:

The “Swordswomen Club” meets every day.

Its members are revered and well esteemed.

There’s Madame Ardent, Lady Boundless, Lady Gargantuan, Lady Delightful, Miss Hopeful, Miss Veracious, Miss Zealous, Miss Charming, Miss Lawful, Miss Igneous, Lady Knowing, Miss Thirsty, Madame Motional, Miss Nocturnal, Miss Spirited, Miss Obsequious, Lady Postwar, Miss Tzar, Miss Quiet-as-night, Lady Radiant, Madame Shrill and Lady Total.

Madam Ardent wore a Crown and was old and Wise.

Lady Boundless Understood the wisdom and the Crown was promised to her.

Lady Gargantuan took shelter under the Crown, and vast as she was admired all the Beauty from atop.

Lady Delightful was adored by her Father and Mother and received abundant love.

Miss Hopeful poured the wine of the Wise spiced with brilliant dust from Madam Ardent’s Crown, down to the Angels, Beautifully with her sparkling hands.

Miss Veracious, Wiser than all men taught Mercy to the bunch.

Miss Zealous rapturously loved her Beautiful lover Understanding his secretive ways.

Miss Charming tamed with charm the Strength of sphinxes her Mother passed to her.

And Miss Lawful, just and severe balanced all her Beauty and Strength and knew the art of the Mind.

Miss Igneous had a Sun all for herself, Mercifully dispensing its life-giving light all around and even though she was always cloaked, glistening rays protruded from her heart.

Now Lady Knowing took Jupiter for her man and was exempt of the childish games, but sometimes on a starry night she swirled and sang her spinning tunes to the Victorious women of the Club who’ve won a game of love and dressed them in green and blue for all the Kings to see.

Miss Thirsty was a lioness and had a taste for such strong Beasts, she lured them Mercilessly into her flaming bed and drained Life itself from their veins.

Madam Motional had a thing for swings and tied them Strongly over waters beholding Splendor thereof, sacrificing everything for the sight.

Miss Nocturnal dreamed of archers in the night, but macabre as she was never held a lover for too long, change was her steady pace and of such Victories over time she forged the very Suns.

Now Miss Spirited was one of a kind, passionate union of opposites, zealous, colorful and crafty she was mighty in the arts of wands and cups – she said the Moon was her faithful mate when looking up to the Beauty of the skies.

Miss Obsequious on the other hand was very passionate about a certain gifted gentleman, and on the Sunny days she went out on Splendorous quests surrendering to the fictions of her illuminated man.

Lady Postwar frequented a tower on stormy days, and teased Hermes and Venus while kissing Dis, fierce and red were her lips and all she spoke of was ruin and fire and the bliss of all that glistens in flames.

Miss Tzar as the name speaks had rule over things. Many Victories she had seen being the first of twelve royal kids and she Founded her faith in the spring, giving way to hope and other kingly things.

Miss Quiet-as-night was a mysterious maiden who always roamed the roads of a Kingdom in the dark, with her two black hounds she howled under the window of Venus demanding her nine cups of blood, for reasons of her own she even looked at the distant sea.

Lady Radiant had a strong-Founded faith in all things delightful for she had seen and rejoiced in the light, she was always bathed in Splendor as she rolled with her twelve-wheeled chariot in the hot summer days.

Madame Shrill, of her nobody speaks, of her secret Earths, of her silent childlike face, of her Splendid flames under the vast night. Of her nobody speaks and she never utters words herself, but all know and all fathom the shrill of her calm.

And there is Lady Total, the totality of a universe condensed in a whirl. She is a whole Kingdom, the cherubs keep her sides, and a Moon shines on her bannermen from beyond the emerald veils adorned with snakes that rise forever on.
